Durabella est un revêtement de sol décoratif, composé d’un liant biosourcé, coloré et mélangé à une matrice de marbre, de verre et d’autres matériaux naturels. Après le polissage et la finition, la beauté naturelle des agrégats dans un décor coloré est exposée pour fournir un Terrazzo magnifique, durable et flexible.

A sustainable, seamless and flexible terrazzo flooring made up of rapidly renewable resources that are free of ortho-phthalates, chlorine and solvents. Durabella has exceptional characteristics in appearance, aesthetics and durability – a decorative floor finish, with endless customizable designs including logos, unique patterns and intricate designs. The overall construction is not vastly different from that of traditional Terrazzo, though the ingredient makeup is very different.

Durabella is extremely durable and perfect for any high traffic area such as hospitals, airports, theme parks, schools, etc. Our terrazzo does not use epoxy or any harsh chemicals during the installation process. The product is also resistant to water, preventing microbial growth and mold – one of the many reasons it is a great fit for healthcare facilities and any shared public spaces dedicated to creating healthy spaces.

composition

Durabella is made out of various components based on a special modified binder, marble aggregates and/or natural stones. Durabella Biopolymer is made from vegetable oil and is Red List Free. Durabella is a flexible terrazzo and has a 40% better sound absorption compared to tradional epoxy terrazzo.

application

Durabella Seamless Terrazzo is an aesthetic, seamless, wear-resistant finish for areas with heavy traffic. Suitable for both new construction and renovation (10-18mm) project. Durabella is therefore often used in public buildings such as shopping malls, hotels, receptions, restaurants, convention centers, airports, banks, offices, hospitals, entrance halls, stations, public areas, etc.

appearance

Very similar to the traditional terrazzo floors. The surface is smooth. Various patterns and motifs can be obtained in the floor. In contrast to traditional terrazzo floors Durabella can be supplied in RAL, Pantone or NCS colors. The finish can be adjusted to your liking and color composition is customer specific. Slip-resistance is depending on the finish, multiple options available.

maintenance

hardening and curing

Durabella is ready for foot traffic at 15°C after 24 hours. The full hardening has occurred after 7 days assuming a temperature of 15°C. After curing the floor is ground to the desired surface. The floor is waxed or impregnated.
